Deactivating Your Site Connection
Deactivating a show’s connection revokes the license token for that show and removes the link between it and your Benecaster account.
How to Disconnect
- Go to Settings → Shows → [Show] → Settings → Subscription.
- Click Deactivate this show’s license.
- Confirm when prompted.
The token is revoked on benecaster.com and cleared from your WordPress install. The show returns to unlicensed state.
What Deactivating Does
- Revokes the license token — the connection can no longer be used to validate this show.
- Clears the local per-show token — Benecaster treats the show as unconnected.
- Does not delete subscriber data — your subscriber records, feed tokens, and history remain intact.
- Does not affect other shows — each show’s connection is independent.
Reconnecting After a Disconnect
To reconnect, open Settings → Shows → [Show] → Settings → Subscription and click Connect to Benecaster. This starts a fresh connection and issues a new token. See Connecting Your Site to Benecaster →
