Add-ons

Tools for the job. Only the ones you need.

Benecaster is built around a solid core — private subscriber feeds, tier management, membership plugin bridges, welcome emails, token authentication. Most shows need exactly that, and nothing more. Add-ons extend the core with specific capabilities: visual email editing, subscriber analytics, episode transcription, affiliate link tracking, guest profiles. You pick what your workflow calls for and skip what it doesn’t. You never pay for features that don’t apply to your show.

Every add-on works on every paid plan — Starter through Multi-Show. Plan tier governs subscriber count, not which tools you can access.

Three things worth knowing:

  • Every add-on works on every paid plan. Starter through Multi-Show — plan tier governs subscriber count only, not which tools you can access.
  • Studio includes everything. If you want the complete toolkit without managing individual purchases, Studio is the one-decision path. See Studio →
  • The All Add-ons Bundle covers every annual add-on in one subscription — automatically includes new add-ons as they launch. More below ↓

Add-ons

Migration Wizard — $79 one-time · Free with Growth, Pro, Multi-Show, and Studio

Moving from Patreon, Supercast, or another platform is the most stressful moment in a podcaster’s relationship with new infrastructure. The Migration Wizard handles the entire process: database backup before anything is written, subscriber import with automatic platform detection, tier mapping, a configurable grace period so no subscriber loses access mid-transition, and a sequenced email campaign that walks each subscriber through their transition on their own schedule. A live funnel dashboard shows you exactly who’s made it across and who needs another nudge. One-time pricing because migration is a one-time event.

Included free on Growth and above — no separate purchase needed.

Blocks & Widgets Library — Free

Gutenberg blocks and Elementor widgets for every Benecaster feature — episode player, subscribe CTA, subscriber count, pricing table, QR code, listener support button, and more. Without this add-on, adding Benecaster content to a page means finding the right shortcode and pasting it into a text block. With it, everything is drag-and-droppable from the visual editor you already use. No shortcode hunting, no template editing.

Email Editor — $49/year

Every email Benecaster sends — subscriber welcome, episode notifications, token reset, migration sequence, broadcast emails — uses the plugin’s default templates without this add-on. With Email Editor, every template is yours: drag-and-drop block editor, your brand colors and logo, your copy, merge tags with autocomplete. Episode notifications fire automatically when an episode unlocks for each tier. Test-send with real data before anything goes to subscribers. No PHP template files, no code.

Guest Manager — $49/year

Interview shows accumulate guests fast. Without Guest Manager, each guest is a name field and a website URL on each episode — scattered, impossible to maintain, and invisible to subscribers looking for more from a specific person. Guest Manager creates full profiles: bio, photo, title, social links. Each guest gets a public archive page listing every episode they appeared in, maintained automatically. Update a profile once and it updates across every appearance. Link guests from inside the episode editor without leaving the publish flow.

Outlinks — $49/year

One clean redirect URL per sponsor or product — yoursite.com/go/buzzsprout — used across every episode that mentions it. When the destination URL changes, update it once and every episode reference updates instantly. The redirect dashboard shows total clicks broken down by episode, so you can see exactly which content is driving conversions rather than just a total. Geographic routing sends US and UK visitors to different destination URLs automatically. Broken link monitoring runs in the background and alerts you when a redirect destination goes down.

Analytics Dashboard — $79/year

Running a private podcast without data is guesswork. The Analytics Dashboard surfaces everything: subscriber growth by tier, cohort retention, feed engagement as a proxy for active listening, episode download counts, email open rates — and benchmark comparisons against the Benecaster platform median. Benchmarks are only possible because Benecaster runs across many independent podcast sites; that aggregate context is available here at the individual creator level. Data has been collecting since you activated the plugin — purchase today and your full history is immediately visible.

Transcription Service — $79/year · Bring your own API key

Timestamped transcripts for every episode, via your own OpenAI Whisper, AssemblyAI, Deepgram, or Rev.ai account. Transcription costs go directly to your provider — Benecaster doesn’t mark them up. Request transcription from the episode editor with one click; the job runs in the background. Transcripts are interactive on episode pages (click any timestamp to jump the player), indexed for search, and controlled by the same tier-based visibility as episode content. At typical podcast lengths, API costs run roughly $1–2/month.

AI Search — $79/year · Bring your own API key

Standard keyword search finds episodes when your subscriber knows the right words. AI Search finds episodes when they only know the concept. “Episodes about burnout,” “interviews with founders,” “that episode where you talked about pricing” — it finds the relevant episodes even when those exact words aren’t in the title. Semantic understanding across episode titles, descriptions, show notes, and transcripts. Includes an admin search panel for searching your back-catalog while recording, and episode correlation that surfaces related episodes for listener navigation.

Content Calendar — $79/year

Most podcasters know what they’re publishing next week. The problem is the three weeks after that. Content Calendar gives you a single view of your entire production schedule: episode publish dates, tier availability windows, recording days, guest appearances, and sponsor commitments. When everything is visible, conflicts surface before they become problems. Drag-and-drop rescheduling, month/week/list views, export to Google Calendar or iCal.

Podcast Workflow — $99/year

Two problems every serious podcast operation runs into: getting feedback before you publish, and knowing exactly where every episode stands. Guest Preview generates time-limited preview tokens — private pages with the episode player and a timestamped feedback form. Editorial Tools moves every episode through a defined status: Draft → Review → Approved → Scheduled → Published, with pre-publish checklists and task assignment.

Sponsor Manager — $79/year

Sponsor profiles with contact, campaign dates, and rate information. Per-episode sponsor assignment with ad position markers. Sponsor reports showing which episodes featured which sponsors. Pairs with Analytics Dashboard for per-sponsor performance data.

NYOP Subscriptions — $49/year

Let subscribers name their own recurring price above a minimum floor you set. Price thresholds determine tier access — subscribers who pay more get more. Works alongside fixed-price tiers on the same show.

Video Podcast Enhanced — $49/year

Want a few add-ons? Consider the bundle.

If you’re adding three or more tools, buying individually gets unwieldy — multiple renewal dates, a purchase decision every time something new ships. The All Add-ons Bundle is $499/year and covers every current annual add-on plus every annual add-on that launches during your subscription, automatically included at no extra charge.

Not included in the bundle: Migration Wizard ($79 one-time — one-time tools don’t belong in an annual subscription) and CRM Sync add-ons (available separately for organizations using a podcast as a B2B marketing channel).

Rather have it done for you?

Setup Services are separate from add-ons. They’re fully managed, hands-on services where we configure Benecaster on your WordPress site — you’re not buying software, you’re buying time and expertise applied directly to your setup. We work on your WordPress environment — staging if you have one, live if you’re starting fresh — and hand over a setup that’s been verified end-to-end: feeds tested, email templates confirmed, subscriber journey walked through before you go live.

Standard Setup — $499 one-time

We install Benecaster on your WordPress site, connect your subscription plugin or Benecaster’s built-in membership, configure your private RSS feeds, set up your email templates, install your subscriber account page, and walk through the full subscriber journey with you before handover. Two to three business days from your setup call.

Migration + Setup — $1,499 one-time · Included free with Studio

Everything in Standard Setup, plus a complete subscriber migration from your current platform. We import your subscriber list, map your tiers, configure a grace period so no subscriber loses access mid-transition, run the migration email sequence, and monitor the funnel for 30 days — flagging non-completers and helping you resend. Seven to ten business days from your migration call.
