The Migration Wizard handles the entire process, with a safety net at every step. It imports your subscriber list from Patreon, Supercast, Hello Audio, Memberful, or SSP/Castos — creates WordPress accounts, generates personal RSS tokens, and sends a configurable email sequence that walks each subscriber through their transition on their own schedule. A live funnel dashboard shows you exactly where every subscriber stands: imported, emailed, clicked, subscribed, or dropped off — so you can resend to anyone who needs another nudge. And before any of this starts, it backs up your entire database. You never touch live subscriber data without a download link in hand.

One step at a time.

Back up — the wizard backs up all Benecaster database tables before any records are written. You get a download link. You don’t proceed without a safety net.
Upload your CSV — drag in your export. The wizard detects your source platform automatically and pre-fills field mappings. Confirm or adjust.
Map tiers — drag your source tier names to your Benecaster tiers visually. The wizard remembers the mapping.
Set a grace period — choose 30, 60, or 90 days. During this window, imported subscribers have full access regardless of payment status.
Send migration emails — the wizard queues your migration email sequence and shows a live “X of Y sent” progress view. Navigate away and a persistent banner takes over.
Track the funnel — the migration dashboard shows every subscriber’s status: imported → emailed → clicked → subscribed → dropped. Resend to non-completers at any stage.

Before you migrate from Patreon.

Audio hosting check — required before migration.
Patreon allows direct audio file uploads. Benecaster generates RSS feeds that point to hosted audio URLs — it does not host audio itself. If your episode audio lives on Patreon, you need to move those files to a podcast hosting provider (Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Transistor, Captivate, or similar) before migrating subscribers.

The Migration Wizard surfaces this check as a mandatory pre-migration step and won’t proceed to subscriber import until you confirm audio hosting is in place.
