What does my subscriber’s experience look like?

When a subscriber signs up and pays, they receive a welcome email with their personal RSS feed URL. The email includes one-tap deep links to add the feed directly in Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Castro, and other common podcast apps. From their perspective, it’s a normal podcast subscription that appears in their existing app alongside their other shows.

They can also access their feed URL, a QR code, and account management from a subscriber account page on your WordPress site.

The fastest way to see it yourself: create a free account on your own site, give it a subscription, and go through the flow as a subscriber. You’ll get the actual welcome email, the actual feed URL, and see exactly what your account page looks like.

If you want to browse a subscriber’s account without creating a separate login, plugins like User Switching let you log in as any WordPress user from the admin area and back in one click — but anything you do while logged in as that subscriber is real. Resetting their token changes their feed URL. Any account or billing actions affect their actual account.
