How Does the Payout Work?

When someone you referred becomes a paying member, we add a credit to your Benecaster account equal to what they saved on their first month. That credit pays out gradually — up to half your bill each month, until it’s used up. If your credit is larger than half of one renewal, the rest carries forward automatically to the following month. You don’t need to do anything.

For example: you’re on Pro ($25/month). A friend you referred signs up for Pro. You earn $12.50 in credit. Each month, up to $12.50 — half your $25 bill — comes off your renewal. In this case the full credit applies in one month. Refer a Studio customer and you’d earn $74.50, which would reduce your Pro bill by up to $12.50 each month for about six months.
