Do subscribers on a free trial count toward my plan limit?

Yes. Free trial subscribers are on a paid tier — they have an active feed token and a first payment scheduled at the end of the trial. They count toward your plan limit. What doesn’t count is a genuinely free membership level (a tier with no payment required at any point). Free trial ≠ free tier.
