Gutenberg blocks and Elementor widgets for the whole plugin.

Most WordPress sites are built in Gutenberg or Elementor. Without this add-on, adding Benecaster content to a page means hunting for the right shortcode and pasting it into a text block — no visual feedback, no drag-and-drop, no settings panel. Want an episode player on your homepage? A pricing table that updates automatically when you change your tiers? A subscriber count that only appears once you have a number worth showing? You’d need to know the shortcode syntax for each one.

The Blocks & Widgets Library wraps every Benecaster feature in a proper block or widget. Drop an episode player onto a page, add a live subscriber count to your landing page, embed a pricing table that pulls tier data directly from your membership plugin — all from the same visual editor you use for everything else on your site.

Works on every Benecaster plan, including Launch. No license tier required for the blocks themselves.

Full block and widget set.

Both the Gutenberg blocks and Elementor widgets cover the same set:

  • Episode Player — embeds the audio or video player for a specific episode
  • Episode Card — styled episode summary: artwork, title, description, CTA
  • Subscribe CTA — tier-aware subscribe prompt; logged-in subscribers see their current tier instead of pricing
  • RSS Feed URL Display — shows the current subscriber’s personal feed URL
  • QR Code — generates a QR code for the subscriber’s RSS URL or your show’s signup page; downloadable as high-res SVG or PNG
  • Latest Episodes — configurable episode list or grid
  • Show Stats — public subscriber count and episode count
  • Subscriber Count — live paying subscriber count for marketing pages; configurable format (full or compact), minimum threshold so it only shows once you have a number worth displaying
  • Pricing Table — full tier comparison pulled live from your membership plugin: tier names, prices, subscribe buttons — always in sync, no manual updates when pricing changes
  • Listener Support — place a donation button anywhere on your site; three display styles: Inline Form (Stripe checkout embedded on the page), Button (opens a modal), or Icon (a heart, star, or mic icon with a caption below — also opens a modal); renders nothing if Stripe isn’t connected yet

Shortcodes (registered in core, available without this add-on):
The underlying shortcodes — [benecaster_player], [benecaster_subscribe], [benecaster_feed_url], [benecaster_qr_code], [benecaster_episodes], [benecaster_subscriber_count], [benecaster_pricing_table], [benecaster_listener_support] — are registered in Benecaster core and work everywhere, regardless of whether this add-on is installed. The Blocks & Widgets Library wraps them for visual editing in Gutenberg and Elementor.

A better Benecaster for everyone.

Blocks and widgets are how most WordPress users build pages. Keeping this library behind a paywall would make Benecaster harder to use for no good reason. The add-on is free to drive adoption and demonstrate what the rest of the ecosystem can do.

Even More Powerful With

  • Email Editor — the player card block (episode artwork + play button, linked to the episode page) is available as a merge tag in Email Editor templates — episode notification emails can include a properly rendered player card without any manual image work.
  • Analytics Dashboard — the Subscriber Count block pulls the same live data the Analytics Dashboard tracks; use it on your marketing pages to show prospect-facing subscriber numbers that update automatically.

Requires / Works with

  • Requires: Benecaster (any paid plan) for private feed features. Blocks that display subscriber data require a valid license.
  • Works with: Any Gutenberg-compatible theme or Elementor-based site.
