Add-on: CRM Sync — Salesforce
$149/year — Business Tools add-on. Not included in the All Add-ons Bundle.
Your podcast subscribers are prospects, customers, and partners — now Salesforce knows it.
For organizations running Salesforce as their CRM.
In a Salesforce org, a contact’s Activity Timeline is where every meaningful touchpoint lives — calls, emails, meetings, deal activity. If your company runs a private podcast and a contact is a paid subscriber who’s been listening for six months, none of that shows up. Your account team has an incomplete picture, and one of your strongest engagement signals is invisible.
CRM Sync — Salesforce logs every Benecaster subscriber event as an Activity Timeline entry on the matching contact record: new subscription, tier change, feed gone quiet, cancellation. Your sales and account teams see podcast engagement alongside every other activity, with no separate tool to check and no manual exports. A guided setup flow handles the OAuth configuration, and a “create suggested fields” button builds the custom field set in your org automatically.
Right for: Enterprise and mid-market teams running Salesforce who use a podcast as part of their marketing, sales enablement, or customer success strategy.
What gets synced.
- New subscriber — Activity Timeline entry on the matching Salesforce contact; custom fields populated for tier name, show, subscription date, and last active date
- Tier change — Activity entry logging upgrade or downgrade with before/after tier
- Feed gone quiet — Activity entry when engagement drops; configurable inactivity threshold
- Subscription cancelled — logged as an Activity entry with reason if available
- Contact matching by email address; existing records are enriched, not duplicated
- “Create suggested fields” button — automatically builds the recommended custom field set in your Salesforce org with one click; no manual field setup required
- Full sandbox support — test the integration in your Salesforce sandbox before enabling in production; setup step captures production vs. sandbox org
Setup.
CRM Sync — Salesforce uses a guided Connected App OAuth flow. The setup wizard walks through each step: creating a Connected App in your Salesforce org, completing the OAuth authorization, and confirming the first test event lands correctly. No Salesforce admin experience required — the wizard surfaces each step in plain language.
Why $149 instead of $99?
Salesforce’s Connected App OAuth setup, object model, and API version deprecation cycle are significantly more complex than HubSpot or Zoho. Salesforce retires API versions on a regular schedule, requiring updates each time. The price reflects that ongoing maintenance overhead.
Requires / Works with
- Requires: Benecaster with any paid plan
- Requires: A Salesforce org with permission to create a Connected App (typically Salesforce Admin access)
- Note: This is a Business Tools add-on. It is not included in the All Add-ons Bundle or Studio. Available on any paid Benecaster plan.
