Everything in Standard Setup, plus a complete subscriber migration.

Standard Setup (included):

  • Plugin installation and license activation
  • Subscription plugin bridge configuration (MemberPress, WooCommerce Subscriptions, PMP, or RCP)
  • Feed setup and token authentication verification
  • Email templates configured and tested
  • Subscriber account page installed
  • Pre-launch walk-through of the full subscriber journey

Migration (additional):

  • Patreon or Supercast CSV import — subscriber accounts created, tokens generated
  • Tier mapping — your source platform’s tiers mapped to your Benecaster subscription levels
  • Grace period configuration (30, 60, or 90 days) — imported subscribers retain access regardless of payment status during the grace period
  • Migration email sequence configured and scheduled: welcome, reminders, completion confirmation
  • Migration funnel dashboard set up and handed over — shows who’s made it across at a glance
  • 30 days of post-migration monitoring — we watch the funnel for the first month, flag subscribers who haven’t clicked through, and help you resend

All work done on your actual WordPress site.

Before we start.

To complete Migration + Setup, you’ll need:

  • An active Benecaster plan (Growth or above — Migration Wizard is included free on Growth+, which is used as part of this service)
  • A WordPress site with admin access
  • A subscription plugin installed or willingness to install one: MemberPress, WooCommerce Subscriptions, Paid Memberships Pro, or Restrict Content Pro
  • A CSV export from your current platform (Patreon, Supercast, Hello Audio, Memberful, or SSP/Castos)
  • Episode audio already hosted with a podcast hosting provider — not uploaded directly to Patreon. Moving audio to a podcast host (Buzzsprout, Libsyn, Transistor, Captivate, etc.) is required before migration; it’s the most common blocker and we’ll flag it early in the process.

How it works.

  1. Purchase and book — confirmation email with a link to schedule your migration call
  2. Migration call (60–90 minutes) — we review your current setup, your subscriber list, your subscription plugin, and any specific requirements; we walk through the migration plan before doing anything
  3. Pre-migration backup — database tables backed up before any records are written; you receive a download link
  4. Setup and import — Standard Setup completed first, then subscriber import with your configured grace period and tier mapping
  5. Migration email sequence launched — emails queued and sending begins; you receive a live funnel dashboard
  6. Handover — we walk through the full setup and migration funnel with you; confirm the subscriber journey end-to-end
  7. 30-day monitoring — we watch the migration funnel for the first month; flag subscribers who haven’t completed, help you resend as needed

Total calendar time: typically 3–5 business days from the migration call to handover, depending on subscriber list size.

Your subscribers won’t notice a disruption.

The migration is designed so your subscribers keep access throughout. The grace period means imported subscribers can listen immediately using their new RSS URL — they don’t need to have completed the payment setup to keep access during that window.

The migration email sequence reaches out gradually: a welcome with their new feed URL, a reminder that payment setup is needed, a final warning before the grace period ends. Subscribers who click through and set up payment continue seamlessly. Those who don’t will receive an “access ended” message with clear instructions to resubscribe.

The migration funnel dashboard shows exactly where every subscriber is in the process. After handover, you have full visibility and the tools to follow up with stragglers yourself.

Migrating from Patreon?

Audio hosting. Patreon allows direct audio file uploads. Benecaster’s RSS feeds point to audio hosted at a podcast hosting provider — they don’t serve the audio themselves. If your episodes are hosted on Patreon, moving them to a podcast host is a required step before migration. We’ll confirm this early in the migration call.

Community features. Patreon includes posts, comments, direct messaging, and community features. Benecaster is a private podcast feed tool — it doesn’t replace the community layer. Some podcasters keep a free-tier Patreon active for community access while moving their audio subscribers to Benecaster. We’ll help you think through the right approach for your situation.

Supercast. If you’re migrating from Supercast, the migration is cleaner — audio is already hosted elsewhere, no community features to navigate. The process above applies directly.
