What happens to my data if I cancel my Benecaster license?

Nothing is deleted. Your subscriber data, episode content, and all Benecaster records remain in your WordPress database after cancellation. The plugin continues to function in a limited capacity — new token generation stops immediately, and existing subscriber feeds keep working through the end of your billing period and a 30-day grace window after that. Once the grace period ends, subscriber tokens are deactivated and private feeds stop serving — though your public feed keeps working, because the site falls back to exactly the free WordPress.org version of Benecaster rather than switching off.

Your data is yours regardless of license status, and reactivating restores everything automatically — at any point, with no deadline. A license that lapsed a year ago restores in full the moment it is brought current.
