What happens to my subscribers’ feed URLs when I switch from Castos?

Castos-issued feed URLs are controlled by Castos — they stop resolving when your Castos account closes. There is no way to preserve them.

The Migration Wizard generates new Benecaster feed URLs and sends them to each subscriber in the migration welcome email, along with one-tap deep links for Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, and Castro. The email walks subscribers through updating their app — most podcast apps make this a simple re-add.

The grace period (30, 60, or 90 days) keeps their Castos access alive while they make the switch. Subscribers who complete the migration during the grace period experience no gap in access. Those who miss the deadline and need to re-subscribe go through your normal sign-up flow.
