Can a subscriber use their feed on multiple devices?

Yes. A subscriber’s RSS feed URL can be added to their podcast app on any number of their own devices. The feed URL is a URL — there’s no device limit. If a subscriber believes their URL has been shared with someone else, they can reset it from their account dashboard.

One thing to be aware of when resetting: resetting generates a new URL. The old URL stops working immediately, and the subscriber will need to update the feed URL in their podcast app on every device they use. If they have the feed on their phone, tablet, and laptop, they’ll need to re-add it on all three before new episodes come through.

One other thing worth knowing: listened/unlistened episode state is tracked per app, per device — that’s standard podcast app behavior, not something Benecaster controls. A subscriber who listens on their phone and then opens the same episode on their tablet will see it as unplayed there. Most subscribers are used to this, but it’s worth being aware of if subscribers ask.
