What does an automatic upgrade cost on an annual plan?

When an automatic upgrade fires on an annual plan, SureCart charges a prorated amount for the remaining period at the new plan’s rate. For example: if you’re on annual Starter ($79/year) and are upgraded to Growth ($149/year) six months into your subscription, you’d be charged roughly half the difference ($35) for the remaining six months. Your subscription then renews at the full Growth annual rate ($149) on your existing renewal date.

The upgrade email includes the prorated charge amount, what period it covers, and when your next full renewal will be — so there’s no ambiguity about what was charged or why.
