benecaster_account_page_url

Filter Free Since v1.0.0

Filters the subscriber account page URL returned by the `benecaster_account_page_url()` helper function. The default URL is the permalink of the page whose ID is stored in the `benecaster_account_page_id` option — typically the auto-created `/podcast-account/` page.

Use this filter to redirect subscribers to a different URL: a custom page built with a page builder, a per-show landing page, or an account tab inside your membership plugin. The filter fires whenever the helper is called, including in welcome emails, token reset emails, WooCommerce My Account tab links, and membership plugin account area links. The `$show_id` parameter is `0` when the helper is called without a specific show context.

Parameters

Name Type Default Description
$url string Permalink of the subscriber account page
$show_id int ID of the show; 0 when not show-specific

Returns: string

Examples

Redirect to WooCommerce My Account

add_filter( 'benecaster_account_page_url', function( $url, $show_id ) {
    // Point subscribers to the WooCommerce My Account page instead.
    return wc_get_account_endpoint_url( 'podcast-subscriptions' );
}, 10, 2 );

Custom URL per show

add_filter( 'benecaster_account_page_url', function ( string $url, int $show_id ): string {
    if ( $show_id === MY_SHOW_ID ) {
        return home_url( '/my-show-account/' );
    }
    return $url;
}, 10, 2 );

Notes

Free. The default URL is the permalink of the page stored in the benecaster_account_page_id option — typically the auto-created /podcast-account/ page. Use this filter when you want subscribers to land on a custom-built account page rather than the auto-created one.

Affects
