benecaster_subscription_free_switch_landed
Fires when a scheduled move onto the show’s free plan takes effect: the paid Stripe subscription has ended, the subscriber is now a member on the free tier, and their feed URL is unchanged.
benecaster_subscription_tier_changed has already fired for the same move, so the Tier Change email has gone out if the show sends it. That is the general hook, and the one to use for anything that simply follows a tier. This one says why the tier moved, for a listener that needs to tell a downgrade by choice from every other route onto a free tier.
benecaster_subscription_cancelled does not fire: nobody cancelled.
If the free tier was deleted, deactivated or given prices between the request and the renewal, the move cannot land. The membership then ends like any cancellation at the period end, and this hook does not fire.
